About the Author

Theodore Roosevelt was born in New York City in 1858 and educated at Harvard University. He served as the 26th President of the United States from 1901 to 1909. He authored nearly 30 books and was the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1906. He died in 1919.

Richard Bak is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, a Marine Corps veteran, and the author of several biographies and historical accounts, including The Big Jump: Lindbergh and the Great Atlantic Air Race.
