This volume tells the story from Roosevelt's procurement of his regiments to the conclusion of the event. Included at the end of the book are appendices including names of "muster-out rolls" with deaths and even suicides listed! These appendices include many letters and correspondence and reports from the Associated Press correspondents. The book itself is in very good condition considering its age, brown cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. The binding is a bit loose but not torn and all the pages are very tight, with no markings anywhere in the book. Seller Inventory # 105
