Item description from seller

128 pp. This is a unique copy which was inscribed and signed by the author (Harold Peterson) and one of the artists (Don Holst). The recipient of the book was a Fellow member of the Company of Military Historians (Later changed to the Company of Military Collectors and Historians). He had been a fellow of the "Company" since 1955 and knew the author quite well. There is some very minor chipping to the top middle dj edge and top edge of rear (very minor). The unclipped pictorial dj has a bit of fading to the spine otherwise is in good shape and has protected book well. The past owner also participated in the Civil war reenactments at Gettysburg, Pa. His old address label is still affixed to the front inside endpaper. The inscription from the author is as follows: "For .(name).who owned some of the old metal tube Harold L. Peterson" The title page signature states: "To .(name).with best wishes Don Holst" (One of the illustrators). Overall in very nice condition and is clean, complete and tight.
