Very informative book on The Royal Charters of the City of Carlisle, text in english and some latin. 348 pages plus 3 page list of subscribers at the end, all pages in bright clean condition just some light browning to edges of first and last couple of pages, two pages have light browning to top where it looks like a bookmark may have lain,some light pencil underlining to first few pages of introduction not in rest of book.5 large fold out plans 2 in colour and facsimile letter, the plans are all complete but on has small tear to blank edge and one has small tear to boottom of illustration.
