An insightful work on the Royal Marines, also known as the Royal Marines Commandos, and officially as the Corps of Royal Marines, the United Kingdom's amphibious special operations capable commando force. Written by Richard Greville Verney, Lord Latymer, a British peer and conservative politician. In the original brown paper wraps. Externally, smart with light wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Minor loss to the front board at the tip with an ink stamp to each board. Hinges failed with text block detached. Internally, generally, firmly bound with some pages loosening. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. A small closed tear to the compliments slip.
