Vii pp + 103 pages and advert leaf. + 10 hand colored copper engraved plates. Also other conch shells pasted in to endpapers, inside front boards and reverse of contents page, (not affecting text). These are also hand-cold and are the same period as the book c1820-30. Original quarter calf and marbled boards with titles on the spine. The covers worn and hinges showing, one page had a brown spot near top corner slightly affecting one plate and one page of text, the date of 1826 which should be at the foot of the title has been erased by hand, the date added in pencil, but corresponds to the layout of the first edition. Title page a bit grubby and handling marks. Contents very good. Slim octavo 7.2 x 4.2 inches. Rare. Seller Inventory # 8089

We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
