Dawson in 1868.In the publisher's original green paper wraps.Rather than being a list of school rules for students, this rulebook is instead directed towards the various staff across Burslem school, including the superintendent, teachers, secretary and the financial committee amongst others. The pamphlet offers us an excellent view of how schools were believed should be managed and operated during the Victorian era.
