Rustic Rhymes Including Poems by "Dauvit's Wife"

12mo (19 x 13 cm). pp 204. Photographic portrait of author as frontispiece, with tissue guard. Original cream cloth boards, lettered in gilt to front. Decorative endpapers. Boards moderately soiled, with scattered marks; rubbed, with gilt lettering worn in places; corners bumped. Endpapers toned. Pages almost entirely clean, with just an occasional spot. Binding firm, but short crack developing to head of front hinge. A scarce volume of local Scottish vernacular poetry. A particular point of interest is that the Scottish National Dictionary cites several of the poems as a source for early 20th century Fife dialect.
