First edition, very good + cloth hardcover shows a faint crease along spine, light rubbing at cover edges and touch of bumping to corners, bit of soil at page edges and some other mild trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) with mild exposure toning along spine common with this title, rubbing at spine and fore edges and with edgewear that includes closed tears and shallow open chipping. 325 pages with black & whites and index. Still a pleasing copy of this work on ".one of the most widely admired of those who lived among and wrote about the traders and trappersof the American Far West.".
