[book is "Good" only, with heavy wear to cloth at top and bottom edges, slight fraying to bottom corners, some small tape marks and various other traces on both pastedowns which suggest that this is an ex-library book although there are no library markings per se; jacket is serviceable but heavily worn, with old internal tape reinforcements at all folding points, light stain along left edge of front panel, etc.]. (B&W line drawings) Very uncommon satirical fantasy-farce about a young New Yorker who discovers one day that he can fly, and the many compensations and complications this ability brings to his life. The author, a Georgia-based booking and publicity agent "for several major motion picture companies," had penned one previous novel in a similar vein, "Tom," about a man who makes a Faustian pact with his cat.
