First edition, first prnt. Signed by Murdoch on the title page. Additionally, Murdoch's a holograph note on aprx 5x7 inch sheet is laid-in. "Streeple Aston Oxford Dear Brian Thank you so much for writing! I'm glad you liked the book, and especially that you liked Tim & Daisy! I am very fond of Daisy myself. So pleased to hear from you and au revoir & all best wishes & love Iris." Offsetting on the front pastedown and free endpage; dustjacket with short stray ink line on the spine and few shallow edge creases. Tight copy in Near Fine condition in a Very Good dustjacket with an archival cover. Steeple Ashton in Oxfordshire was the location of Murdoch's home, Cedar Lodge. The recipient of Murdoch's note was a friend and collector of Murdoch's work. His business card is also laid-in. Murdoch's sixteenth novel. Winner of the 1974 Whitbread Award for fiction.

Shipping in US is via USPS priority or media mail at buyer's option. International shipping via USPS Global Priority or First-class air. Orders are shipped same or next business day with notification by email of shipping date and delivery confirmation number.
