First edition, no dust wrapper. Purple and black boards with black lettering on the spine. Edges of boards are moderately thumbed and rubbed, with the occasional scuff mark on front, back and spine. Head and tail of spine bumped, head corners also bumped bear some heavy wear and tear. Binding is neat and tidy, yet split at the centre. Book leans to the right. Spine well sunned, fading bleeds onto front cover a little. Covers also bear some general discolouratiuon. Free endpapers, pastedowns, title pages and most pages throughout bear some discolouration and foxing. Page edges are moderately discoloured. Head edge gilted. Fore edge deckled. Otherwise this book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
