Bound in pictorial dust jacket, over green cloth boards, pictorial endpapers, illustrated title page, and red stain to the top edge of the text. The preliminary pages include a two-page map of the area surrounding the Saskatchewan River. This copy has a one-word owner's name on the blank free endpaper. A very good copy with moderate wear commensurate with the age of the book. The dust jacket is in good condition with heavy chipping at the spine ends, surface rubbing to a two-inch section of the rear panel near the base, a half-inch tear on the rear fold, and surface rubbing and wear on the edges. It may be closing the gate after the horse gets out, but it is now protected with a Brodart cover. See the accompanying photograph.
