This is a UK first edition hardcover published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1960 and the ONLY first edition online at the time of listing. The jacket is in Fine condition and is nice, bright and unclipped (12s 6d net). The book is Very Good with very slim reading slant (it sits straight on a shelf) and firm corners and spine ends. There is heavy page toning. There is wear to the inner front board and initials on the top page edges. It also has a feint musty odour from age / storage but nothing offensive and I mention for completeness. An overall handsome copy of this title which looks far better than described. The copyright page confirms the first printing in 1960. Seller Inventory # 010362
