A very good and tight copy. First Edition. A much nicer copy than usual with the usual foxing to edges and end papers due to the impurities in the paper. No bumped corners. No signatures or bookplate. Frontispiece with tissue guard. Spine tips are fairly smooth and round. Gold gilt lettering to spine and front board are very bright and clean. Author wrote over 40 books which take place in Africa. Author is a contemporary of H. Rider Haggard. Seller Inventory # 002737I
