First Edition. Illustrated by Charles Robinson.Royal 8vo. pp. vii + 306 + 6p.advertisements at rear.with 8 colour plates by Charles Robinson all with titled tissue guards. The frontispiece tissue guard has a booksellers ink stamp of George Robertson & Co.,Sydney on the rear discretely. The text has a little marking and some mild discoloration. Recently rebound in full dark green calf with classic marbled end papers, decorative dentelles, hand sewn headbands, raised bands and red title labels. decorated in compartments. A stunning binding for a truly classic children's book.

We operate a shop open to the public in Buderim Shop Hours 9.30 -2.00 Tuesday - Friday 9.30 - 2 Saturday We sell good quality antiquarian & secondhand books. If you visit us and want to purchase something from the catalogue please call in advance in case the book is still housed at home, so we can have it ready for you. Buderim is a village in sub tropical Queensland on the Sunshine Coast about 1 hour north from Brisbane. There is easy parking to the rear of the building and lots of cafes for coffee,breakfast and lunch.
