Former owner's inked name and stamp on front pastedown sheet and fly leaf, a very old water stain to rear endpapers, else a very good, square, internally clean copy of a very scarce book that lacks the dust jacket. A gentleman adventurer solves a murder by deciphering clues from missing Shakespeare samplers and their catalogue book.
