Light green cloth, spine titled in gilt. Slight use to cloth, some browning to edges and end-papers. A good copy in rather poor dust-wrapper. Tales of Scottish salmon and trout fishing, profusely illustrated by d'Egville in the style of his "Calling All." series. "The yarns and reminiscences of a kenspeckle Scots angler, Archie Gardner, are here illustrated by what has proved to be the final work of Alan d'Egville whose earlier works of humorous angling drawings are well known to fishers everywhere. Shortly after completing the drawings Mr d'Egville took ill and died, leaving one unfinished sketch and a rough of the dust cover which have both been reproduced as he left them." .
