Pastel green cloth boards with Dark Green Titles, 225 x 160 mm approx. viii + 196 pp. Frontis + 7 other full page pencil illustrations by Trew + 8 others in text. First Edition1940. Story about the Silver Eagle Riding School and its spirited proprietors the Chantry sisters. Very Good/Very Good (Book- No notable shelf wear or soiling to cloth. Previous owner name and date in ink to front paste down, fore edge of one plate a little rubbed where prominent having become loose - now re- tipped in. Binding sound. Dust Jacket - Light rubbing to extremities with small nicks/negligible loss, spine tanned with moderate soiling extending to rear panel. Non price clipped- original cover price overprinted and revised price printed on.Very respectable in a removable proprietary protective sleeve).
