4to, modern cloth, chromolithographic frontispiece (corner bit chipped), 148pp. With 66 lithographed plates, in black and white, or in delicately light tinting, or in color, many of them exhibiting an unusual attentiveness to shadings and shadows, a quality enhanced by the clean, sharp paper used. One of the better graphic displays of architectural orders printed in this country during the nineteenth century. Ex-lib., with plates inside front cover and a few stamps internally. A little less than a Very Good copy. HITCHCOCK 1198.
