pp: 111. Bound in plain yellow dust jacket with artwork by the author, over a yellow cloth binding with title and decorative corona in gilt on the top board. A collection of poetry and the author's artwork published in a volume in German. The book is quite scarce. In the book, Schneid reflects on the deep effect the Holocaust had on his life and work. Many of his family members were murdered during the Nazi period in Europe. Schneid was born in the old Austro-Hungarian Empire, and, after leaving Europe, lived in Israel, and Toronto, Canada. The book is in very good condition. The jacket, made from rather flimsy paper, has stains on the spine, that extend to both front and back panels for a short distance. The book has light soiling on the top edge, and (less noticeable) along the edges of the boards. The jacket is protected with a Brodart cover.
