Collects 12 poems with music by Linnell, each with an accompanying tipped-in colour plate. The plates are all of flower fairies from Barker's "Flower Fairies of the Spring". Ink inscription on front flyleaf, dated 1971, otherwise a very good bright copy. A delightful collection of twelve songs for young children, set to music. The Song of the Primrose Fairy, The Song of the Windflower Fairy, The Song of the Groundsel Fairy, The Song of the Daffodil Fairy, and The Song of the Lady's Smock Fairy. written and illustrated by Cicely Mary Barker, the artist and best known as the illustrator who created the Flower Fairies, with music from Olive Linnell.
