HARDBACK 1845. THIS BOOK HAS BEEN RE-BOUND INTO TIDY GREEN HARD COVERS , WITH THE ORIGINAL CLOTH PASTED ON TO THE BOARDS AND SPINE. THE ORIGINAL GREEN CLOTH IS FADED TO BROWN AROUND THE EDGES. THE END PAPERS LOOK ORIGINAL. IF NOT, THEY ARE AT LEAST IN KEEPING WITH THE AGE OF THE BOOK. THERE IS AN OLD BOOKSELLER'S STICKER ON THE FRONT PASTEDOWN (SOLD BY REES AND SON ABERGAVENNY), PREVIOUS OWNERS' NAMES ON FRONT PASTEDOWN. TOP OF BLOCK IS DUST STAINED. EDGE OF BLOCK IS TANNED. THE OPEN PAGES ARE QUITE GOOD FOR THE AGE OF THE BOOK, BUT THERE ARE SOME PAGES ON WHICH THERE IS SIDELINING OR UNDERLINING IN HEAVY PENCIL- SEE PHOTOGRAPHS.
