FRontis of Mulbekh monastery. No date (1931) A narrative of the geologist author's expedition to Central Asia in 1927/8 - good description of the peoples, scenery, geology, living conditions, nature, etc. He travelled from Srinagar to Kargil to Leh, Kashgar, Kunlun, the Taklamakan Desert, Yarkand, Karakoram mountains, etc Spine neatly rebacked. Very good with clean text and no inscriptions. In rather shabby good only dust jacket with significant loss at spine (over half gone) the front cover image is still complete showing a snarling figure in red and white with mountains in the background.
