This is a UK first edition hardcover published by Frederick Muller in 1953. The book is in Very Good condition for its age with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. The covers are clean as you can see and the gilt logo on the front is intact. The page tops are sprayed blue to match the book design and the page edges are fox spotted but the interior text is clean. The binding is tight. Shipping Terms:

I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. I do NOT offer cheap shipping and add it to the book price so please do not complain to me that Bob down the road offers cheaper postage. Sure he does - but the price of his book is hiked to reclaim it, or you're referring to a power seller who can negotiate postage discounts. I can't - I'm a private individual selling my private collection. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. Tracking is NOT provided automatically on UK parcels - you have to choose priority mail AND pay an additional �7 postage on top.
