The Strand Magazine was probably the most famous of the illustrated story magazines that proliferated in the early 20th century. This volume also features a mystery by Arthur Conan Doyle titled ONE CROWDED HOUR, plus stories by P. G. Wodehouse, E. Phillips Oppenheim, and Mrs. Baillie Reynolds. Also featured in this volume are illustrations by Brock, Rene Bull, H.G. Wells, Joseph Simpson, among others. Lightly rubbed at spine ends and corners, else a very good, clean, tight copy.
