Add to basketStated first edition (regular edition distributed by Farrar, Straus & Giroux, not signed or numbered). Black cloth boards with red lettering on cover and spine. Boards are slightly warped; mild soiling from dust. Red dust jacket with black lettering on cover and spine. Jacket is wrapped in mylar. Chipping and small tears to edges including a large chip (approx. 1 1/2 x 3/4 inches) missing from top of back panel; spine is faded; staining to front panel. Tight binding and clean interior. Unpaginated. A gift note to the previous owner and a small erratum sheet are laid in. This collection of poetry by Haven O'More, founder of the Institute of Traditional Science in Cambridge, Massachusetts, deals with sacrifice as "the primary operational necessity for human beings" (from dust jacket).
