First edition, hardcover, has a lean to the binding, subtle bowing to the boards, slight bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, foxing to the edges of the text block and to some page faces, smudging to the tail, and a previous owner's brief note with some effaced marks to the corner of the half title. Overall, this is a solid, Near Very Good copy in an unclipped, Very Good dust jacket, which has bumps with creasing and short tears to the spine ends and corners, wear with short tears to the edges, rubbing with scuffs and smudges to the covers, and sunning to the spine. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.
