Large softcover, external wrappers are still shiny but there are some creases at the corners along with some bumping and a little bit of lift to the clear plastic cover, mainly on the spine area. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No handwriting or any other markings found although there is some foxing and spotting but this is mainly to the exterior page edges, particularly the top edge. The book appears to be in numerous languages, including English. We acquired a large collection of chess books over 40 years ago, most of which were then packed away, and the boxes finally opened at the time of this listing - which is why the condition of this book looks like one that was not typically in circulation for all of these years.
