Oversized hardcover without dust jacket, undated (c1933, see below), 162 pages including maps and the author's line drawings, plus 16 colour plates also by him; orange/red cloth covers with bright and clear gilt to both covers but faded on spine, top edge also in red, book very gently used, only tiny traces of shelf and reading wear, tight in binding, school presentation bookplate glued to inside of front cover dated "October 26th, 1934", otherwise very clean and unmarked throughout.
