Saling-Ship Models

Sailing-Ship Models: A Selection from European and American Collections with introductory text by R. Morton Nance. Halton & Company Ltd a 1949 excellent reprint of a 1924 book. Book is in very good+ condition, a fine sturdy large format hardback with no loss or other damage and no inscription or markings BUT there is some gentle spotting to the top edge of the page block. Generally, a very good copy indeed. Book is 12 inches X 10 inches X 1 inch. Large hardcover, 80 pages of text and 124 black-and-white plates, mostly full-page b/w plates of models (ships that is!) of European and American sailing-ships from the early 16th century to the year 1890. Plus b/w line drawings and informative text and a glorious colour frontispiece protected by intact tissue paper and a hugely useful List of the Principal Museums and Other Institutions in Europe and America Containing Ship Models. A really nice publication. We pack our books properly and ship daily from the UK.
