Hardcover first edition, first printing. Scarce book. Moderate soiling and a few small nicks to cover - still a rather attractive decorated binding with small boy sleeping with tiger on cover, gold lettering on cover and spine. Wear at spine corners. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Clean beautiful decorated endpapers. Colored stamped illustration of indian mounted on horse on blank preliminary. Beautiful clean color frontispiece with tissue guard; four additional clean full color plates. 203 pages.
