Los Angeles: Flying Saucers International, 1955. First Editions. The June, September and December editions of 1955 (volume 3, nos. 2,3, and 4. Stapled wraps, small octavo, 16 pp each. Uneven sunning to covers, and previous owners stamp to covers (two of these on the June issues, but otherwise remarkably sharp and well-preserved. Very Good, because of the sunning, else, really, near fine. See scans. Three small, short pieces of history from the early years of the investigation of the still-growing UFO mystery. Max Miller, founder of Flying Saucers International and editor of this, the organization's newsletter, was one of the very first to spend long serious hours on the subject. All issues included discussions on the subject by professionals, as well as summary reports on many current UFO sightings. Miller himself wrote some of the contents, with contributions from John Otto (another early luminary, a paranormal and UFO investigator and radio talk show host), Daniel W. Fry, Rose Hackett, James F. Roddy, Dr. Alfred Nahon, Orfeo Angelucci (author of "Son of the Sun", and an early claimed contactee), Arthur Constance, George Hunt Williamson, Abraham J.
