Original colour illustrated wraps 17x24cm. 202, (2)pp. Very good. In 1928, every Saudi citizen had the right to issue a paper or magazine, among which the most important were Al Islah, Al Haram, Sawot Al Hijaz. This presents a history of the Saudi press since 1928, describing individual publications, printing and publishing arrangements; the Ministry of Information (established in 1955); radio and television (with first transmissions in 1949 and 1965 respectively); the Saudi News Agency (founded in 1970); the Supreme Council for Information (founded in 1980); and information policy and rules, with related law and policies in the Appendices. Very rare, with only 5 locations on Worldcat (Humboldt-Universitat, Yale, US International University Africa, Arkansas State University, UCLA). Not recorded on Library Hub.

Shipping terms
SHIPPING: Domestic and international shipping is tracked and insured with UPS. This has unfortunately meant an increase in domestic rates especially, and in most cases I am absorbing some of the increase. (I have moved away from Royal Mail owing to a series of problems).
DELIVERY DEADLINES: If you have a hard deadline for receipt that is before the processing time stated on Abe, eg, if you need it to arrive urgently before you travel or before a particular event, please contact me at the time of order to advise, so options can be discussed and steps taken to ensure it gets there in time.
RETURNS: Please return any items for refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, and contact me first with the reason for the return to establish whether postal costs will be included in the refund. If the item is not as described, I will cover the original and return post.
