This book studied school health programs of six Tennessee counties (Gibson, Hardeman, Williamson, Rutherford, Lincoln, and Sullivan) regarding dental caries, vision defects, condition of the heart and lungs, nutrition, tonsil health, immunization status, and the Blue Ribbon program. The authors draw some conclusions from the study regarding the integration of public health and school health services, and what school health programs should offer.
