hardback, octavo, recently rebound in full black cloth and lettered gilt to spine, new endpapers, gore and bottom edges are rough-trimmed, leading edge of the title page is darkened else the text remains clean and unmarked, x [i] 388 pp. The work was printed as a response to the 'Lectures on the Principles of Unitarianism' by J S Hyndman, a Northumbrian Unitarian, and although enjoying distribution in Alnwick, Newcastle, Edinburgh and London it remains extremely scarce. Indeed, we are unable to locate a copy listed at Copac or in the National library of Wales. The author was an Anglican clergyman, Curate of Whittingham.
