First edition of Volume 1, 1737, London. Volume 1 of 2. Modern fine binding of quarter leather and marbled boards by Starr Bookworks. Interior is good. Library stamp on title page, some notations on preface, occasional pencil notes in text. Title page is backed with rice paper. Some edges chipped not affecting text. Last page is high quality facsimile. Paginates: [12], 420. Modern blanks. Extremely rare. OCLC locates 10 physical copies. Auction records do not find any sold at auction. None for sale. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Default shipping is via media mail. If you would like priority please contact me and we can arrange it.

A note about shipping outside the US:
Shipping costs from the United States to anywhere outside the U.S. have gone up astronomically. While USPS First Class International is the least expensive, no tracking is provided. Since the beginning of 2020 this class of shipping has become unreliable. Priority Mail International is now the best option and much more expensive. Small lightweight books can be shipped for less than the price indicated so feel free to contact me and I will reduce fee to actual cost.
