112 pages, hardcover with dust jacket, 11" by 8 1/8". Signed and with a brief inscription on front free endpaper by John Rood. Seminal book by American sculptor and art school professor John Rood, with advice and instructions for sculpting and welding in metal, and profusely illustrated with black and white photos of his knockout Brutalist sculptures as well as work by others (Lilian Saarinen, Ted Egri, Dorothy Berge, Marie Zoe Greene-Mercier, and Alfredo Halegua, among others). In very good condition overall - interior clean, bright, and unmarked, small tear to top of front panel panel of dust jacket and larger chips and loss to dust jacket in rear. Musty odor to book.
