Edition: First edition, first printing Binding: Hardcover in original dark blue cloth with gilt spine lettering Dust Jacket: Original printed jacket present; worn at crown and foot of spine with small tear to top rear corner. Condition: Near fine book in original dust jacket. Cloth clean and gilt bright; pages clean, unmarked, and evenly toned. The jacket shows some chipping to top and bottom edges and a small tear at the rear corner, but remains complete with no loss of text. A very presentable copy of Millay's second full-length collection of poetry, issued just before she won the Pulitzer Prize. A desirable first edition, especially scarce in dust jacket.
