Book size - 7.4 x 5.8 inches , pp. 2 (half-title and Imprimatur) + 1 + 8 ( dedication) + xxii + 100 + 2 + 7 (table to first part, misbound) and 1 (imprimatur) + 1 + 11 (contents) + 1 (errata ) + 198 + 2 (listing books printed for Richard Chiswell), hardback in full leather binding. Book condition - Very Good ; slight soiling and creasing of prelims otherwise contents clean, some foxing/tanning here and there in the textblock, no inscriptions, back inner hinge intact, front inner hinge split but boards very secure, hand-sewn headbands in good condition,: the book has been re-bound in the past with tree-bark patterned calf ; corners not bent and with little wear, board edges good, back clean with leather showing some areas of fine surface cracks, spine, with five raised bands, complete with ends intact, front clean and again with fine surface cracks ; the leather, despite the fine surface cracks, is in good condition with a subtle sheen to it. Please see the photos for indications of condition and contents. Rare original copies of Wake's second defence bound in one volume - no others found on the web at the time of this listing.
