Bound in Currey's "A" Binding of blue cloth with titles stamped in gilt on spine. Illustrations by Ric Binkley. #355 of only 500 numbered copies signed by the author. Square, tight and clean throughout save some off-setting to end-paper gutters. Mild edge-wear. Some spotting to the cloth. Spine a bit dulled. Sharp unclipped dust-jacket, ($3.00), has some mild rubbing to spine ends and tips. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, creases, toning or tears. Inscribed and signed by the author on the limitation page, "To Charles Tanner. The proud (but not proud enough) creator of TUMITHAK". Following is a warm inscription signed by the author both as "Doc" and Edward E. Smith, Ph.D. Charles R. Tanner (1896-1974), was the well regarded science fiction writer who notably penned the story, "The Color of Space" and the creator of the character Tumithak.
