Terry Tempest Williams (b.1955) is an acclaimed American author, naturalist, and environmental activist known for her lyrical prose advocating for ecological and social justice. Deeply rooted in the landscapes of the American West, her creative nonfiction explores the intricate intersections of wilderness preservation, women's health, and indigenous cultures. She serves as the Writer-in-Residence at Harvard Divinity School and splits her time between Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Castle Valley, Utah.
