Infamous sexual memoir by a wealthy "gentleman" of Victorian England. The book has sound hinges and is not cocked. Pages are clean, unmarked and undamaged except for some light dust soiling on the top and bottom outer page edges. Black cloth covers are clean and the silver lettering on the spine is clean and bright. No bumped corners. Some vertical folds in the cloth on the spine (because the volume is so enormous). The dust jacket is not price-clipped. It shows a couple of tiny marks and a trace of soiling only along edges of the back panel. There are also a few small tears along the top edge of the jacket, the longest of which is about 1/2". The jacket has been put in a clear archival sleeve to keep it looking great. Book, dust jacket and sleeve will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. This is a very heavy volume that will require extra funds for shipping overseas.
