Seventh impression 1971 of the 1959 first edition. Hardback in Very Good condition. Blue patterned boards with blue lettering to the spine, bumped to the corners, light edge wear, head and toe of the spine slightly creased to the edges, binding somewhat rolled, surfaces clean but a little faded to the extremities, 120 pages with black and white illustrations, a few minor marks to the edge of the text block, a small chip to the bottom edge of the title page, a number in a ring in pencil to the fep with its impression on the title page following, otherwise clean and without inscriptions, binding firm. Unclipped jacket is Very Good, slightly chipped to the top and base of each fold, the edge of the folds slightly scuffed, spine a little tanned and with two creases running its length which have scuffed, minor creasing and marks to the surfaces, previous bookseller's price in pencil to front cover, now protected in a removable clear plastic sleeve.
