First edition/later printing. VG/NVG. This copy dates to 1934. Twenty-five chapters, four glossy illustrations. Condition of the book is very good, the jacket is good. Bright blue cloth, orange lettering and illustration. Hint of rubbing at extremities, covers clean and bright. There is an owner's notation in pencil on the back of the frontispiece, otherwise clean throughout, pages bright and crisp, binding and hinges sound. Jacket has small chips at extremities and along folds, spine is a little age-darkened and faintly water stained, colors bright. Jacket in new mylar protector. Exceptionally nice early copy. NOTE: lists to Mysterious Letter on copyright page, to Larkspur Lane on list at rear of book, and to Broken Locket on dust jacket flap.
