Octavo (standard size). Slight wear to the edges and corners of boards, more so with small tears to dust jacket edges. Dj has a large cut to corner of first flap. Book plate of former owner on pastedown. A short tear in the hinge at flyleaf. Slight foxing to foredge. Errata slip tiped in at half title page. xliii, 248 p. w/select bibliography, footnotes, index. Pages 1-227 are numbered twice, with Latin on one side and English on the other, sharing the same page #. A dual language edition of a collection of important letters from this great Pope regarding England, on a wide variety of religious and secular topics.
