Near fine gift quality card cover paperback in original paper dust wrapper with one half-inch closed tear at head of frt panel and a light crease on upper fore-edge of rear cover/dj. PH neutral bookbinders tape affixed to head of dj only, no other defects except that the intro by W.E. Butler is not present, only a short unsigned word that ends with 'this is what I endeavour to express in my bookplates'. This memo seems to be written by Kalashnikov. 32pp staple bound book measuring 11 14/16ths x 8" wide. Includes 76 bookplate reproductions on glossy white paper in black, brown, green, and teal examples of Kalashnikov's sensual bookplates in a highly erotic style with explicit sexual images. Kalashnikov has illustrated many works of literature (some by Primrose) and was a noted Russian graphic artist doing work for USSR bureaus and international organizations.
