Some slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, corners slightly bruised, not price clipped (£1.75), previous owner's name to top ffep, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for its age. 176pp. The eleventh Sergeant Caleb Cluff mystery, set in the Yorkshire Dales. Gil North (Geoffrey Horne,1916-88), was a British author of detective stories. His novels about Sergeant Cluff, based in Yorkshire where he was born, were made into a television series 'Cluff', by the BBC in the 1960s. A scarce book.
