With six plates to 'At the Earth's Core' and another six plates to 'The Chessmen of Mars. Collated, complete. Bound in the publisher's cloth. Externally, very good, with bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to most volumes. Marking heavier to 'The Chessmen of Mars', with fading and discolouration to 'Gods of Mars', 'At the Earth's Core', 'Chessmen of Mars' and 'Son of Tarzan'. Ink inscription to front endpapers of two volumes. A small closed tear to backstrip head of 'Chessmen of Mars'. Stain to the front board tail of 'The Mucker'. Fading to spines. Spotting to fore edge and endpapers. Hinges a little strained to 'Son of Tarzan'. Internally, generally firmly bound, although a little strained in places to 'Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar', 'The Mucker' and 'Son of Tarzan'. Pages are age toned to a few volumes, with a few spots to end pages, although generally bright and clean to most volumes. Very Good. …
