Pp. iv. 52. 5 of 6 coloured illustrations present. Lacking one illustration at pp.5-6. The colour illustration on one side of the page & depicted a "garsun" (a boy) & the verso was blank. The text on the following pages relates back to the illustration as a means of understanding the Gaelic text. The pagination is askew & inconsistent in places as in some instances the illustration page and the verso are "counted" in the sequence and in others only the illustration "counts" and yet again in other instances the illustration leaf is ignored altogether in the page sequence. Hinges broken and pages loose in a number of clusters sitting loosely between the covers. Occasional stains and foxing internally. Tear to one leaf, with no loss of text. A few tears to page edges. Fair overall. Rare.
